On February 4th, at age 63, Scott Simonis unexpectedly passed away. Scott grew up in Plover Wisconsin, graduating high school from SPASH in 1981. Throughout his life he had worked at various construction type jobs, learning many skills throughout the years.
Scott was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved watching the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Bucks. In his younger years he loved being the life of the party, and creating unforgettable memories that can be shared for years to come. He had a big heart and family meant everything to him, he enjoyed spending time with family, and being a loving grandfather to Ixtacci, Jasmine, & Jauquin Lopez and great grandson Diamonte, and sharing a lot of quality time with his favorite fluffy dog Archie.
Scott is survived by his long time companion Susan Bemowski Hytry, his parents Leroy & Darlene(Newby) Simonis, sister Cindy Pitcher Flynn, brother Perry Simonis, & brother Lance & Tami Simonis, and several nieces and nephews.
Scott is preceded in death by his brother Lenny Pitcher, sister Candi Simonis, brother in law Stephen Flynn, and his beloved dog & best friend Archie.
Funeral Services for Scott will be held at Noon on Wednesday February 19th, at Pisarski Funeral Home in Plover- 2911 Plover Road. Visitation will take place from 11:00am until the time of services. Deacon Vern Linzmeier will be officiating. A Celebration of Life will follow afterwards at Parkway Bar 1038 County Rd. C Stevens Point.
