Serenity Beth Hamus

Serenity Beth Hamus, age 43, of Stevens Point, Died Wednesday Aug. 25, 2021 of Natural causes at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

She was born June 21, 1978 in Stevens Point.  She is the daughter of Sandra (Brown) Gehin and the late Bruce Gehin.

She graduated from SPASH in 1996.

Her marriage to Jim Hamus took place on July 23, 2006.  The couple later divorced, however remained friends.

Serenity was a warm, loving, generous and funny person.  We are reeling from her passing .  She has chosen to carry on her generosity by donating her organs.  She will live on and make so many people and their families get another chance at life.

Survivors include her mother; Sandra Gehin, brother; Shane Gehin and sister; Lindsey Gehin.

Her former husband; Jim Hamus and beloved dogs; Oscar and Roxie.  Aunts; Paula Schlice, Sue (Jerry) Alfuth and Bonnie Brown.  Uncles; Jeff (Jolene) Brown, Greg, Phillip and David Gehin, wonderful cousins and amazing friends.

She was preceded in death by her father; Bruce Gehin, grandparents;  Dale "Doc" (Shirley) Brown and Dr. Francis (JoAnne) Gehin.  Uncles; Wayne Schlice, Paul and Mark Gehin, cousin; Joe Alfuth and her beloved dog Lilo.

A celebration of life will be October 3 ^rd , 2021 with more details to come
