Shannon J. Schulfer

W ith a Heart Full of Love and a Spirit that Always Shown Bright, Shannon J. Schulfer left this world on January 17th, 2025.

Shannon was born to the late Gerald and Betty (Roesentreter) Lanigan on December 10th, 1942, in Wausau, WI and graduated from Wausau Senior High School in 1960.

Shannon was a homemaker and raised 6 children. She loved to watch the birds at her feeders, especially hummingbirds. Shannon also enjoyed meeting her friends for their monthly lunch dates. Shannon was always helping others running errands and having a quick bite at McDonald's.

A true friend to many.

She is preceded in death by her son, Kevin Dalsky, brother, Gerald (Jay) Lanigan, and husband, John Schulfer.

Shannon is survived by her 3 sons: Steve (Sharryl) Dalsky, Keith Dalsky, and Chris Dalsky, and 2 daughters: Tami (Mike Zabawa "her son-in-law") and Heather Wideman. She is also survived by her seventeen grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, her brother, Todd Lanigan, 2 nieces and 1 nephew and several cousins.

Shannon is further survived by 3 stepchildren: Cindy (Tim) Trainor, Darlene (Randy) Spurlin and David Schulfer. Many step grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Shannon will be Dearly Missed by All those whose lives she touched.

Funeral Services for Shannon will be held at 11:00a.m. on Thursday January 23, 2025, at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home 2911 Plover Road Plover. Deacon Vern Linzmeier will officiate. Visitation on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
