Shirley A. Kalpinski

Shirley A. Kalpinski, 92 of Stevens Point died Monday March 13, 2023, at Dimensions Living Facility. She was under the care of St. Croix hospice. Shirley was born on April 1, 1930, to the late Florian and Regina (Bukowski) Falkavage. She attended local schools.

Her marriage to Harry Kalpinski took place on September 25, 1948, at St. Peters Catholic Church, after the marriage the couple settled in Stevens Point. Her husband Harry preceded her in death on January 26, 2003.

Shirley was a faithful and active member of St. Peters Catholic Church. She worked in the administrative office at St. Peters Catholic school, then at Herrschners and volunteered at the Holly Shop.

She enjoyed crocheting, crafting and baking.

Survivors include her children, Diane (Jerry) Rohlinger of Stevens Point, Beverly (Bruce) Oldenberg of Plover, David (Judie) Kalpinski of Stevens Point and Cindy (Mark) Strojny of Stevens Point.

Also survived by her grandchildren, Amy, Eric, Lisa, Melissa, Brian and Jason. Great-Grandchildren, Sidney, Porter, Alexis, Addison, Ashlynn, Paige and Libby.

She was preceded in death by her son, Russell.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Shirley will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday March 16, 2023, at St. Peters Catholic Church 800 Fourth Ave. Stevens Point. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel cemetery.

Visitation on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service in the St. Faustina room at the church.
