Steven J. Kropidlowski

Steven James Kropidlowski of Woodruff Wi, passed away unexpectedly Friday June 30, 2023 at his home.

Steve was born January 14th, 1958 in Stevens Point. He was the son of the late James "Jim" and Norma "Maggie" Kropidlowski. Steve attended local grade schools, graduating from Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH) in 1976   He then attended and graduated from UWSP.

Steve worked in the insurance industry for many years, having owned and operated Steve Kropidlowski State Farm Insurance Agency in Park Ridge

Steve had many interests and talents. Steve was an Eagle Scout going through scouting with his father as well as his brother, played Hockey for SPASH, loved boating and fishing and looked forward to his annual fishing trip to the Boundary Waters. He enjoyed his trips to the Florida sun as well as a recent trip to Croatia. Steve's sharp wit and sarcasm were known to many. Always willing to help, Steve's generous spirit was his trademark.

Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law Jeff and Becky Kropidlowski, his three nieces, who affectionately called him "Uncle Booger" Mandy Kropidlowski (Chris Charles), Erin (Jordan) Thayse and Alison (Mitch) Lind. Great nieces, Dyllan Charles, Paisley, Nora, Sienna Lind and Great Nephews Campbell Charles and Bennett Lind, his faithful companion Hobie and numerous cousins.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Maggie Kropidlowski and special friend Kris.

A celebration of Steve's life will be held on Friday July 14, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Pisarski Funeral Home, 703 Second Street, Stevens Point, WI.

We lost Steve, to cancer as well as depression. Please if you need help, know there are people to help you and seek the care you deserve.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Wisconsin's Make-A-Wish Foundation in Steve's name to continue his dream of helping Cancer victims.
