Susan I. Kubowski

Susan I. Kubowski, age 75, of the Town of Carson, died Saturday January 23 ^rd due to a car accident in Arizona. Her dream was to retire there in the warm weather with her dog Gizmo.

Susan was the daughter to the late John and Louise Mayek. She attended local schools. Her Marriage to Edward Kubowski took place on June 27, 1964. Her husband died July 10, 1999.

Susan cooked at the Red Mill Supper Club for many years that her parents owned and operated. She also worked at Donaldson Co Inc. until her husband passed. She worked as a caterer for Spit-fire Catering and had various other jobs to occupy her time.

Sue enjoyed cooking, playing cards with her friends and Bingo.

She is survived by her son; Chris Kubowski of Bancroft. Two daughters; Charisse (Tony) Wanta of Junction City & Cassy (Rusty) Krutza of Stevens Point.

Five Brothers; David (Brenda) Mayek of Stevens Point, Ronald (Laureen) Mayek of Junction City, Keefe Mayek of Stevens Point, Alan (Jodi) Mayek of Stevens Point & Joseph Mayek of Junction City.

One sister; Linda (Gary) Prince of Stevens Point

Four Grandchildren; Dustin Wanta (Carmen Cybula) of Junction City, Oregon, Cody Kubowski of Wisconsin Rapids, Kyle Krutza of Stevens Point & Bridget Krutza (Dakota Smith) of Stevens Point.

Two great grandchildren; Silas Krutza of Stevens Point & Myles Steele of Wisconsin Rapids.

Special mention to friends Gayle Linzmeier and Barb Groshek.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother John Mayek Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 PM on Tuesday Feb. 2, 2021 at the Pisarski Funeral Home at 703 Second St. in Stevens Point. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4:30 PM until the time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
