Theresa P. King

Of Stevens Point passed away Friday evening March 26, 2021 at Whispering Pines Assisted Living in Plover surrounded by her loving family.

Age 88 Theresa was born September 22, 1932 in the Town of Dewey.  She was the daughter of the late John and Martha (Szezesny) Dulak.

In her early years Theresa worked for Robert Johnson Cookie Co., and Polly Prim Laundry in Milwaukee.

Her marriage to Leonard C. King took place on September 3, 1951 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Torun.  The couple settled in the Town of Dewey.  Her husband Leonard survives.

Theresa enjoyed watching daily mass on EWTN, was an avid Wisconsin Badger sports fan, but her favorite time was planning and attending family gatherings.  She also was generous with her time in volunteering as a poll worker for the Town of Dewey for many years, and was a member of the Christian Women's Society of St. Casimir Catholic Church.

Survivors besides her husband of 69 years, Leonard, are her children; Elaine (Richard) Eckendorf, Maurice (Joanne) King, Greg King, Mary (Randy) Kolodziej, Eugene (Renee) King, Kay King (Dr. Austin Lampert), Monica King, Wayne King, and Gary (Annmarie) King

She is further survived by 17 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Dorothy Arndorfer.

She was preceded in death by her four brothers John, Steve, Joe and Bernard, and her eight sisters Angeline, Emily, Regina, Helen, Martha, Betty, Veronica and Hedwig.

A private Family Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Casimir Catholic Church.  Rev. Arul Joseph Visuvasam officiated.  Burial was held in the St. Casimir Parish Cemetery.  A public memorial mass is being planned for a later date.  The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to Ascension at Home Hospice staff and The Lodge at Whispering Pines staff for their wonderful, compassionate care of Mom.  Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.pisarskifuneralhome.com The Pisarski Funeral Home of Stevens Point and Plover was honored to be serving the family.
