Theresa B. Ligman

Theresa B. Ligman (Nee Kaminski) of Stevens Point, Wisconsin went to her heavenly home on August 29, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Theresa was born on March 31, 1940, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The daughter of the late Frank and Anna Kaminski.

Theresa had many great memories working at Blue Top Drive In during her high school years. After graduating from Maria High School in 1958 she worked at the Whiting paper mill.

She met the love of her life and future husband, Robert Ligman, at Dan's Ice Cream Parlor. United in marriage to Robert Ligman November 28, 1959 at St Peter's Church in Stevens Point.
Theresa loved being with her family. She had the biggest, kindest and loving heart. She enjoyed cooking for her family and always put them first.

She is survived by her loving husband Robert of 63 years. Loving mother of Steven, Peter (special friend Crystal) and Mary Jo (Steve) Hackworth.
Proud and loving grandmother of 2 wonderful grandsons, Jesse Hackworth and Justin Ligman.
Also survived by her sister Ruth Kawski, Marilyn Haroldson (Mark's fiancé), many in-laws, nieces, nephews, along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her son Mark Ligman, granddaughter Amanda Ligman, siblings Grace, Herman, Jacob, Marie, Myron and Frank Jr.

Her greatest love was being with her family, especially her grandsons. We were very blessed to call her wife, mother and grandmother. We always heard "I love you" everyday.
She will be greatly missed.

Per Theresa's wishes a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
