Theresa Prondzinski

Theresa Prondzinski age 96, of Custer, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2025 at Wellington Place at Whiting, Stevens Point.

She was born on February 18, 1929 in Stevens Point to the late Peter and Gertrude (Kulas) Losinski.

She grew up and attended schools in Stevens Point.

She married Alfred Prondzinski on August 3, 1952 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Stevens Point, she lived in Stevens Point for 10 years and then moved and settled in Custer, Wisconsin.  He preceded her in death on September 19, 2019.

She was employed at Weber Tackle until her marriage, then becoming a housewife.

Throughout her life she enjoyed Bingo (her favorite), fishing, polka music and church picnics. She loved visiting and spending time with her family and friends. She was very fond of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her two daughters, Judi (Bob) Brooks, Amherst, Christine (Mike) Hill, Stevens Point and one daughter-in-law Leona Prondzinski, Daphne, Alabama.

Five grandchildren; Mike, Paul, Andrea, Michelle and Jacob.

Three great grandchildren, Rhiley, Brandon and Madyson.

One brother-in-law Chester Perzewski.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son Mark, her sisters Lucille, Joan, Leona, Grace, Catherine and Rosalie, and brothers Lenard, Carl, and Donny

A heartfelt "Thank You" to Kristan and the amazing and caring staff at Wellington Place at Whiting, and to the Hospice staff for the support, thoughtfulness, and comfort you've given us and to Inclusa for all your help and kindness.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Theresa will be held at 11:00am on Friday May 9, 2025 at St. Mary's Catholic Church Custer-7176 Esker Road. Visitation will take place at the church from 10:00am until the time of services. Fr. Mark Miller will be officiating. Burial will take place in Sacred Heart Polonia Parish Cemetery.
