Theresa B. Turzinski

Theresa B. Turzinski passed away peacefully on October 14, 2021, at the age of 90.

Born June 13, 1931, in the town of Stockton, Theresa was the youngest of 10 siblings and the daughter of Verona (Herek) and Joseph Kurkowski. She married Edward Turzinski in July 1957. They later separated, and Edward passed away in 1981. Theresa was also preceded in death by her parents and siblings. She leaves behind a loving daughter, Betty (Clarence) Wiza, grandchildren Chris, Jeremy (Melissa), Matthew and Amber, and nieces and nephews.

Theresa grew up on her parent's farm in Stockton and lived for a time in Milwaukee, then spent her adult life in the Stevens Point area. She walked and biked as much as she could in her younger years, and went for adventures in her power wheelchair as she got older. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going out to eat and shopping.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wisconsin Alzheimer's Association ( www.alz.org/wi ).

A visitation will be held at 10:00AM at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 1401 Clark Street, Stevens Point on Saturday, October 23, 2021, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM with Rev. Jeffrey Hennes presiding. Burial will follow at Guardian Angel Cemetery.

The family requests that anyone attending wear a face mask.
