Vicki Lee Kramer

Vicki was born in Rhinelander, WI. on September 13, 1955 to Vernon and Barbra (Payette) Smith. She attended schools in Rhinelander and graduated with honor in 1973, she then attended UWSP on a WPS Scholarship and graduated with a double major in 1978.

In 1976 she married John Kramer on May 22, they moved to Stevens Point so she could finish her education. Vicki found her dream job, driving bus for the Stevens Point board of education for more then 30 years. She was also the union steward for the Teamsters Union Local 662, she was elected to the Teamsters board. She made many friends at both jobs that they are still close and lifelong.

While driving school bus she was able to fulfill her 2nd passion GARDENING. Vicki was proud of her two small greenhouses that she filled with plants as soon at the weather would let her. She enjoyed growing and sharing with family members and friends. She enjoyed sharing plants, knowledge and vegetables with anyone who wanted them.

Vicki and John spend weekends and more at the cottage in Three Lakes and enjoyed winter get away trips to the Carolinas, Florida and Outer Banks. They went to Jamaica and Hawaii several times  for special vacations.

John would like to thank John Suchon at the Pisarski Funeral Home, all the Doctors, Nurses and aides at the Marshfield hospital on both 8th and 6th North for the care they gave Vicki. He also wants to thank all the family, friends and neighbors for their support and goodwill.
