Wayne D. Knights

Wayne D. Knights, 87, of Plover passed away on Saturday April 6, 2024, at his residence. Wayne was born in Sandwich Illinois on October 1, 1936, to the late Douglas and Mary (Johnson) Knights.

He attended schools in Sandwich Illinois.

His marriage to Dorathy Lanzi Manz took place on September 5, 1998, at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church Plover.

Wayne worked for Heartland Farms for over 30 years retiring in 2016 at the age of 80. He enjoyed farming and woodworking.

Survivors include his wife Dorathy of Plover. Children, David (Patty) Knights of Plainfield, Sharon Wiesbrook of Newark Illinois, and Diane (Jay) Adkisson of Broken Arrow Oklahoma.  Stepchildren, Lori Smith of Wisconsin Rapids and Shelly (Mike Folyer)  Groshek of Plover.

Also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral service for Wayne will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday April 19, 2024, at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home 2911 Plover Road Plover. Pastor David Ficken will officiate.

Visitation on Friday from 9:30a.m. until time of service at the Pisarski Plover Funeral Home.
