Wendy L. (Lee) Fisher

Of Wisconsin Rapids, died Friday afternoon, March 18, 2022 at Care Partners Assisted Living Center in Stevens Point.

Age 62 Wendy was born July 17, 1959 in Wisconsin Rapids. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Rachael (Erickson) Schnieder. She attended local grade schools and graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids in 1977.

She married James Fisher in the Town of Rome at Lake Arrowhead in 2003. The couple later divorced.

Wendy worked for the United States Post office as a mail carrier in Wisconsin Rapids for over 20 years.

For those who knew Wendy, knew she had a passion and love for Wolves. She also loved Sunny days, as she loved getting tan in the summer and enjoyed traveling. In her younger days she was quite the socializer as she enjoyed visiting the local drinking establishments with her friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Wendy's name will be established at a later date.

Survivors include her daughter Morgan Schneider of Wisconsin Rapids, and her two grandchildren Ilana and Bailey Pinney. Her siblings Rebecca (Dave) Zimmerman, Peter (Barb) Schneider and Michael Schneider all of Wisconsin Rapids, Patrick (Wendy) Schneider of Madison and Lori Stensberg (fiancé Jerome Ferk) of Wisconsin Rapids. Her nieces and nephews; Melissa Stensberg (fiancé Kyle Krause), Chelsea (John) Brooks, Alex Stensberg. Brent (Vicki) Schneider, Brad Schneider, Martha (Patrick) Beinborn and Emily (Dorian) Swenson.

Wendy was preceded in death by her parents, and sister and brother- in- law Cynthia "Cindy" and John Manion.
