William "Wil" J. Mansavage

Of Plover passed away Monday afternoon August 14, 2023 at his home from a cardiac arrest.

Age 46 Wil was born June 28, 1977 in Stevens Point. He is the son of Jeanette (Stanislawski) Mansavage and the late Richard Mansavage.

Wil attended local grade schools, graduating from SPASH in 1995. He then attended Northwestern Technical College (NWTC) and obtained a degree in the Culinary Arts. Wil started his career at the old Holiday Inn , cooking for weddings and banquets, and was  the previous owner of the Frontier Restaurant.

In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, both vegetable and flowers. He loved traveling, especially Hawaii where he has visited numerous times. He was an avid animal lover, and would often foster animals for the Humane Society.  Wil had a huge collection of Beanie Babies and Coca Cola memorabilia and loved going to Packer Games.

In lieu of flowers, contribution to the Portage County Humane Society in Wil's name would be appreciated.

Survivors include his mother Jeanette Mansavage of Plover, his sister Marcia (Karl) Orlikowski  of Custer and one brother Jason (Jessica) Mansavage of Plover. Further survived by his nieces and nephews Amber and Derek Orlikowski and Owen and Bennett Mansavage.'

He was preceded in death by his father Richard and his life partner Tom Walczak.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 2911 Plover Rd, in Plover.   The Very Rev. Ed Shuttleworth officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until the time of services. Burial will be in the St. Bronislava Parish Cemetery at a later date. The Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
