Alan J. "BAZ" Zinda:
Age 22, of 2580 Deer Rd. Rosholt, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010 at Wausau Aspirus Hospital in Wausau as a result of an automobile accident.
He was born Oct. 1, 1987 in Stevens Point. The son of John and Beverly (Herek) Zinda. He attended schools in Rosholt, graduating from Rosholt High School in 2006.
Alan was currently employed at Coyote Steel Roofing in Amherst.
He was very involved with the Cub Scouts Troop 200 of Rosholt. He enjoyed deer hunting, reading, playing video games, hanging out with his friends and spending time with his nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in his name will be established at a later date.
"Alan had a heart of gold, he would do anything for anyone of any age. By Alan's request, his organs will be donated to help others in need. Through his donations, Alan's Spirit will continue to live on."
Survivors include his parents: John and Beverly Zinda of Rosholt. Two brothers: Jeremy & Jason (Nancy) Zinda both of Rosholt. Two nephews: Landon & Jameson. Paternal grandfather: Clarence Zinda of Rosholt, and maternal grandfather: Vincent Herek of Custer. Alan is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by paternal grandmother: Margaret Zinda & maternal grandmother: Angeline Herek.
Funeral Service: 12:00 Noon Monday at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point. Burial in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Polonia. Family and friends will gather from 9:00 AM until the time of services Monday morning at the funeral home.
