Althea N. Wnuk, age 59, of Plover, died Wednesday evening, Oct. 14, 2009, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born on February 8, 1950, in Chicago, IL, to the late Salvatore and Margaret (Lapinska) Alongi and attended Fenger High School in Chicago. On June 2, 1984, she was married to David Wnuk in Stevens Point.
Althea was a self-employed cosmetologist.
Survivors include her husband, David, of Plover; two sons, Christopher (Kristin) Deptula of Plover, and Eric (April) Deptula of Port Edwards; daughter, Melissa (Joe) Gollon of Stevens Point; and grandchildren, Emma, Victoria and Alexander.
In addition to her parents, Althea was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony.
The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point with the Rev. Dennis Stanchik officiating.
