Angeline E. Roszak

94, of Stevens Point, died Sunday, April 7, 2013, at the Stevens Point Care Center. Angeline was born on December 26, 1918 in Arnott. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Smaglik) Karch.

She attended St. Mary's Catholic School in Fancher where she graduated.

Her marriage to Morris Roszak took place on June 15, 1944 at St. Mary's of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Fancher; after the marriage, the couple settled in Arnott. Her husband, Morris, died on November 23, 1970.

Angeline worked for her father at J. J. Karch Dry Goods Store in Arnott and also at Gosh's Trading Post in Arnott. Later on, she worked at River Pines as a C.N.A. where she retired.

She was a member of the St. Mary's of Mount Carmel Rosary Society. She volunteered at the Lincoln Center and enjoyed showing her talent at braiding rugs to many school students.

She enjoyed braiding rugs, crocheting, going to casinos, her flower gardens, eating at Hardees, but most precious to her was family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid Brewer and Packer fan.
She also had a special love for cats and dogs.

She is survived by her two daughters, Joanne (Kirk) Steeno of Pulaski and Mary (John) Adamski of Plover.

Three granddaughters, Amy (Eric) Licht, Sara (Aaron) Werner and Jenna Culligan. Five great-grandchildren, Vance, Ethan, Haven, Ada & Milo. Also survived by a brother-in-law, Jim (Geraldine) Ross of Plover. Sister-in-law, Betty (Ned) La Presti of Milwaukee.

She was preceded in death by one sister, six brothers and 1 son-in-law, John Culligan.

A special thank you to the staff at the Stevens Point Care Center for their special care of our mother.

A special thank you also to Ministry Home Care-Hospice Services for all the support, visits and care, especially Stormy for being with Angeline at the time of her death. Also a special thank you to all the nieces that visited and all of our mother's friends for their concern and little gifts that put a smile on our mother's face.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Fancher. Rev. Marcin Mankowski officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Visitation on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 2911 Plover Road, Plover, and again on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the church.

St. Mary's Rosary Society will combine with the parish rosary at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
