She was a once-in-a-lifetime soul, with a laugh you will never forget if you were lucky enough to have heard it.

On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, Ann J. Lang Bigalke passed away at home in the presence of loved ones. Ann was born January 6, 1960, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, to Leonard and Jacqueline Osowski. She dedicated her life to her children, husband, family, and close friends.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Bigalke; daughter, Jackie (Brian) Kizewski; son, Peter Lang; and grandchildren, Macayla, Hunter, and Chase. She is also survived by her beloved siblings, Jane (Terry) McKnight, Sandra (Mark) Bystrom, Mary (Robert) Reid, and Joe (Jean) Osowski; stepdaughters, Michelle (Sam) Bollmann and Lauren (Chadwick) Warfield; many nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Lori Osowski; and former husband, Fred. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Jacqueline Osowski, and her brother, Mark Osowski.

Ann and Jerry were married in Medina, Wisconsin, on June 14, 2014. Ann spent some years with Jerry traveling on Jerry’s Harley for day-trip cruises to museums, restaurants and roadside attractions. The Harley was eventually replaced with a Mazda Miata. They also enjoyed traveling around the country. Together they visited places such as Gulf Shores, Alabama; Niagara Falls; Las Vegas; Key West, Florida; the Redwood Forest; and, most recently, Iceland.

She deeply loved her children, Jackie and Pete, and was especially proud of her grandchildren. She always looked forward to spending time with them. Thanksgiving will forever hold special memories, as it was her favorite holiday. Everyone left with full bellies and even fuller hearts.

Ann grew up in Stevens Point with her three sisters and two brothers. She was close with her sisters, and she always looked forward to getting together to celebrate each other's birthdays and for their random crafting lunch dates.

Outside of her family, one of Ann's greatest passions was her Ragdoll cats. For more than 30 years, she cared for and worked to enhance the breed she loved so much. While Ragdolls were one of the easiest things to recognize about Ann, she also loved her houseplants and was a talented creator. Collecting trinkets, making candles, and creating other whimsical art projects brought so much joy and light to her home. And no family dinner was complete without a dessert to round out the meal.

Ann was a once-in-a-lifetime soul, with a laugh you will never forget if you were lucky enough to have heard it. She will be dearly missed. In her memory, we encourage everyone who knew her to live for now and enjoy time with the people in your life who matter most to you.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held with Pisarski Funeral Home. The family would also like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at Heartland Hospice for their compassionate care.

Pisarski Funeral Homes is honored to be serving the Lang and Bigalke Famililes.
