Anthony “Tony” Robert Stanislawski, 85, of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on July 18, 2026.

Tony was born on June 9, 1941, in Rosholt, Wisconsin, to August Stanislawski Sr. and Katherine (Gilmeister) Stanislawski, who preceded him in death.

A proud United States Marine, Tony carried the values of dedication, integrity, and perseverance throughout his life. He was a devoted farmer who brought that same sense of responsibility and determination to his many years at Paramount Farms, where he earned the respect of his co-workers through his commitment and reliability. More importantly, he instilled those values in his children, leading by example every day.

Tony was first married to Judith, the loving mother of his children. Together they raised Michelle, Christopher, Keith and Jennifer. They later divorced. He found love again with his beloved wife, Ewa. Together they shared 30 wonderful years of marriage, celebrating a life filled with laughter, travel, and unwavering companionship. Through their marriage, Tony was also blessed with his stepdaughter, Kasia, whom he loved as part of his family.

His legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the music he shared, the laughter he inspired, and the love he gave so freely.

Tony embraced life with enthusiasm and curiosity. A gifted musician, he was first introduced to music when someone showed him how to play the accordion. From there, he taught himself to play multiple instruments, sang, and performed in several bands throughout the years. Music brought him great joy and connected him with many lifelong friends. Though his formal education ended at a young age, Tony possessed a remarkable natural ingenuity and an instinctive understanding of how things worked. He could envision possibilities others might not see, transforming a haybine into a pickle-picking machine and later putting that same innovative mind to work at Paramount Farms, where he helped develop complex machinery for sorting potatoes. He was a true problem-solver—someone who could look at a challenge, imagine a better way, and then figure out how to make it work.

In his later years, he and Ewa loved traveling together, exploring the country and creating lasting memories along the way. Tony also simply loved being behind the wheel, finding happiness in every drive, whether it was across town or across the country.

Those who knew Tony will remember his warm smile, quick wit, and wonderful sense of humor. He had a remarkable ability to make people laugh and brought joy to those around him with his kindness, generosity, and lighthearted spirit.

Above all, Tony cherished his family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ewa; his children, Michelle (James) Beech, Chris (Tammy) Stanislawski, Keith (Jill) Stanislawski, and Jen (Todd) Palbrach; his stepdaughter, Kasia (Dan) Tinder; his grandchildren, Thomas (Casey), Krystina (Jordan), Amanda (Russel), Wyatt (Tara), Kaitlyn, Ahlyianna, Jake, Aidan, Bennett, and Ethan; his great-grandchildren, Aurora and Elsie; his siblings, Agnes Mallek, Henry (Linda) Stanislawski, Margaret Schrader, and Theresa (Ron) Konopack; sisters-in-laws, Marion Stanislawski and Idele Kenowski; brothers-in-laws Krzysztof (Irena) Uzarowski and Lutek (Ela) Uzarowski; as well as extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, August Sr. and Katherine; his first wife, Judith; his granddaughter, Jessica; his beloved mother-in-law, Helena; his brothers and sister, John, August Jr., Thomas, Michael, and Cecilia; his brothers-in-law, Andy, Tom, and Myron; and his sister-in-law, Beverly.

Tony will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, stepfather, brother, grandfather, proud Marine, talented musician, and a genuinely good man whose kindness, humor, and generous spirit touched countless lives. He was respected by many, loved by even more, and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the music he shared, the laughter he inspired, and the love he gave so freely. Though he is no longer with us, his smile, stories, and unwavering love will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Tony will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 24, 2026 at St. Bronislava Catholic Church-3200 Plover Road, Plover. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:30 AM until the time of services. Burial with full military honors provided by American Legion Post 6 and the United States Marine Corps to follow in the parish cemetery.
