His legacy of love, dedication, compassion, loyalty and resilience will continue to live on through everyone whose lives he touched.
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Barrington George Roberts, affectionately known as Robbie, who passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026, surrounded by his loving children.
Although his passing came sooner than we expected, the final weeks of his life were filled with love, laughter and the joy of creating precious memories with his loved ones.
Robbie was a devoted father, a cherished grandfather and a treasured friend. He dedicated his life not only to his family but also to helping others. His kind heart, generous spirit and unforgettable sense of humor touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He was truly a social butterfly, blessed with the remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome. Whether he was offering a helping hand, sharing a meal, giving someone a ride, lending a listening ear, offering words of encouragement, or simply making people laugh,Robbie had a way of leaving a lasting impression wherever he went.
He may have been the shortest man in the room, but he certainly had the loudest voice. He was never one to back down and always stood firmly for what he believed in—whether he was right or not! He was hardworking, respectable and guided by strong values and principles, which he ensure to instill these same qualities in his children.
Robbie was incredibly determined—some might even say stubborn. One of his favorite sayings was, "If you don’t try and fail you won’t succeed." He never believed in giving up without a fight and nowhere was that more evident than in his lifelong love of trucks. No matter the setbacks or challenges he faced, he was always ready to get back behind the wheel and keep moving forward.
Robbie is survived by his wife, Deleene; his children, Desmond (Rohan), Delano, and Alicia (Lisa); his beloved grandchildren, Shanice, Shemar, Amaya, and Jamela; as well as his nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
While our hearts ache in his absence, we find comfort in one another and in the countless memories, laughter and unconditional love he leaves behind.
His legacy of love, dedication, compassion, loyalty and resilience will continue to live on through everyone whose lives he touched.
Barrington George Roberts—affectionately known as Barry, Robbie, Pops, Granddad and Troubles—will be deeply missed, forever loved and always remembered.
One of his final words to us was, "Everything is going to be alright." Those words now bring us comfort. He would not want us to dwell in sorrow but instead to celebrate his life, treasure the memories we shared and carry his love with us always.
A funeral service will not be held at this time. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
The Roberts family sincerely thanks you for your love, support and prayers during this difficult time.
Pisarski Funeral Homes are honored to be serving the Robert’s Family.
