Bernice Zywicki, born on November 22, 1933 to John and Verona Greene and passed away on July 9, 2026 at Dimensions Assisted Living in Stevens Point.
Bernice attended school in Stevens Point and worked at the original A&W Root Beer Stand and Sentry Insurance before marrying Lawrence (Shorty) Zywicki on August 10, 1953. She returned to work part time as a Library Aid for the Stevens Point School District in 1968. Bernice enjoyed painting landscapes/outdoor scenes and did paintings for all her grandchildren.
Bernice is survived by her daughters Christine (Tim) Frank of Three Lakes, WI, Laureen (Dale) Aumann of Rudolph, WI, grandchildren Rachel (Joe) Boehlen, Lindsey (Dillon) Probst, Natalie Aumann (Garrick Palay), Kelsey (David) Svajda, great grandchildren Levi, June, Tavin, Emma, Grayson and Jerome, and her brother Robert (Sarah) Greene.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lawrence (Shorty) Zywicki, daughter Debora Zywicki, sisters Eleanor (Tom) Olski, Marion (Ron) O’Kray, Barb (Dan) Nordall, and brothers Leonard (Hilda) Greene, and William (Judy) Greene.
The family would like to thank St Croix Hospice and the staff of Dimensions for their extraordinary care.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Bernice will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday July 15, 2026 at St Peter Catholic Church-800 4th Avenue Stevens Point. Visitation will take place in the St. Faustina Room from 9:00AM until the time of service. Fr. Tim Oudenhoven to officiate. Burial to follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.
