Bridget M. Jazdzewski

Jesus carried her home peacefully on December 19, 2017 at age 89. She was the beloved wife of 49 years of the late Peter S. Jazdzewski of Mill Creek in the Town of Carson and the loving mother of John A. (Betty) Jazdzewski, also of Mill Creek. She was the proud grandmother of Alex J. (Andrea) Jazdzewski and Andrew Jazdzewski and joyous great-grandmother of John, Arianna, and Ava Jazdzewski. She was the very fond sister-in-law of Elsie (Felix) Sroda, Theresa (Edward) Jazdzewski, and Adeline (David) Danczyk. Preceded in death by 5 brothers and 3 sisters and the last of her family, she also was the beloved aunt to a multitude of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbors. Bridget farmed with her family until her retirement in 1990. She was an active member of the Ladies Society of St. Bartholomew Church for 50 years; participating in bake sales, picnic and pancake breakfast fundraising events, and altar preparations. In her home, she was known for her welcoming hospitality and her love in sharing scrumptious meals with her engaging smile and open arms of friendship.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday December 26, 2017, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church Millcreek. Rev. Dennis Stanchik officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery at a later date. Visitation on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the church.
