Carl M. Olszewski:
Of Stevens Point, died Tuesday morning, July 20, 2010 at Ministry - St. Michaels Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.
Age 54. Carl was born November 10, 1955 in Stevens Point. He is the son of the late Edward Olszewski and Irene (Karch) Olszewski of Stevens Point. He attended Sacred Heart grade school, and graduated from Rosholt High School in 1973.
Carl married the former Linda Worzalla in 1979 and the couple later divorced.
Carl worked for the Worth Company and Del Monte Corp. for a number of years. He also worked as a Tool and Die maker for Pre-Way. He recently worked for Diamond Concrete and Chet Kluck Concrete works. Carl operated Carl's Gun Repair and Bluing Gunsmith. He retired in 2006 due to his illness.
He was a member of the National Guard for six years. He loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting and his Kitty.
He is survived by his two children, Lynn (Fiancée Doug Trudell) Olszewski of Plover and Adam (Amanda) Olszewski of Stevens Point. His three grandchildren: Cassidy and Kaitlin Warchala and Alex Olszewski. His Mother: Irene Olszewski of Stevens Point. One brother: Noel (Mary) Olszewski of Stevens Point and his maternal grandmother: Evelyn Karch of Custer. His fiancée: Mary Viertel of Stevens Point.
He was preceded in death by his father: Edward, three sons: Charles, Kenneth and Karl, and one brother: Tom Olszewski.
Private family services will held at a later date. The Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
