Carol Feltz (nee DeGuire), of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, July 21, 2010.
Born September 28, 1940. Carol is the daughter of the late Frank and Lucille (Selig) DeGuire. She graduated from PJ Jacobs High School in 1958, and had been a cheerleader throughout her high school years. She began a long and distinguished career with Sentry Insurance, and she retired as the Manager of the Property/Casualty department in 1996. After her retirement, she was an active volunteer for the Red Cross Blood Bank.
On August 6, 1960, she married Ronald Feltz. Carol & Ron enjoyed nearly 50 years of marriage and thrived at their Stevens Point home.
Carol enjoyed visiting her sisters in Florida and her daughter and grandson in California. She was an avid gardener and each spring planted an amazing rock garden.
Carol is survived by her husband, Ron Feltz; son, Michael Feltz, Stevens Point; daughter, Tracey Feltz, California; grandson, Dean McGeshick, California; sisters, Bonnie (DeGuire) Cisewski; Mary (DeGuire) Faucett; Donna (DeGuire) Eppers, Florida. Brother, Frank DeGuire, Milwaukee.
Visitation will be 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM Friday, July 23, 2010 at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home of Stevens Point. Rosary prayed at 7:00pm.
Funeral Mass will be 9:30 AM Saturday, July 24, 2010 at St. Stephen Catholic Church. Rev. John Potaczek officiating. Family and friends may call from 8:30 AM Saturday morning at St. Stephen's Church until the time for mass.
