Cecilia K. Berg, 73, of Stevens Point, WI, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, November 21,2025, at Edenbrook of Appleton with her 3 children by her side.

Born: October 14, 1952, in Stevens Point, WI. She was the youngest daughter of the late August & Katherine (Gilmeister) Stanislawski. She grew up helping on her parent's farm in Rosholt. She graduated from Rosholt High School in 1971.

She met her first husband, David R. Hansen, in 1979 while polka dancing at Northland Ballroom. They married and together they had their 3 children, David, Kathy, & Donn. The marriage later ended in divorce in 1986. She remarried over the years. She Married her late Husband Micheal Berg October 10, 2010. They were married 10 years before he passed away on November 3, 2020.

She worked at Lullaby Furniture, Kmart, Del Monte Foods, Holiday Inn, and retired from UWSP as a Dishwasher.

She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids over the years. She enjoyed wordsearches and playing bingo. She volunteered her time as an Usher at St. Pete’s till she was unable to do so. She also enjoyed going to eat with her family and friends, especially at Olympia Family Restaurant, South Point, and Bills Pizza.

She is survived by her children: son - David (Stephanie) Hansen of Menasha, WI, daughter - Kathy (Scott) DuQuaine of Appleton, WI, and son - Donn Hansen of Fond du Lac, WI

Her 6 Grandchildren; Ethan Welch, Hannah DuQuaine, Ali DuQuaine, Finn Hansen, Liam DuQuaine, Clara Hansen

Her three sisters, Agnes Mallek of Junction City, Margaret Schrader of Wittenberg, Theresa (Ron) Konopa of Marshfield, Her three brothers, Tony (Ewa) Stanislawski of Plover, Henry (Linda) Stanislawski of Rosholt, and Chester Stanislawski of Stevens Point. Numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 4 brothers

The family would like to thank the staff at Edenbrook Appleton and Moments Hospice for their help in caring for “Katie” while she spent her time there.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Cecilia at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 5, 2025, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 800 Fourth Avenue, Stevens Point. Father John Potaczek will officiate. A visitation for family and friends will be from 9:30 AM until the time of service in the Saint Faustina Room at the church. Pisarski Funeral Homes are honored to be serving the Berg Family.
