Cheryl A. Sobish, 60, of Stevens Point, died Monday, Sep. 22, 2014, at her residence.
She was born on March 21, 1954, in Stevens Point, to the late Henry and Frances (Rychter) Sobish and was a 1972 graduate of Stevens Point Area Senior High.
Cheryl had been a woodworker at Lullabye Furniture and later worked as a filter processor for the Donaldson Company in Stevens Point, retiring due to health reasons. Her interests included crossword puzzles, Sudoku, reading, jigsaw puzzles and fishing.
Survivors include her sister, Loretta (Stephen) Tuszka; brother, Jerry (Marilyn) Sobish; nephews, Cody (Melissa) Sobish, Troy (Tanya) Sobish and Kyle Sobish; and great-nephews, Kierce and Jacob Sobish all of Stevens Point.
In addition to her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Sobish; and nephew, Jeremy Sobish.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sep. 25, 2014, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point with the Rev. Arul Joseph V. officiating. Burial will follow in Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation will be in the Faustina Room of the church on Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time for Mass.
