Chester Schulist:
89, formerly of Hwy. 66, Rosholt, died Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Oakridge Assisted Living in Stevens Point. He was under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice Services. Born: May 19, 1921 in the Town of Sharon. Son of the late Lawrence & Susie (Wiza) Schulist. He attended local schools.
His marriage to Florence Kurszewski took place on August 31, 1946 at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Rosholt. After the marriage, the couple moved to Milwaukee where Chester worked for Blatz Brewing Company. They returned to Rosholt where the couple owned and operated Schulist Bar on Highway 66 for 22 years. His wife, Florence, died on August 13, 2010.
He was a member of the St. Adalbert Men's Rosary Society and the St. Isadore Rosary Society at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, playing pool and spending time with his family.
Survivors include Four Daughters: Marlene (John) Skibba of Florida, Nancy (John) Kruzicki of Rosholt, Jenell Shulist of Middleton and Corrine (Art) Oksuita of Stevens Point. One Son: Harvey (Sandra) Schulist of Custer. One Brother: Hubert Schulist of Custer.
13 Grandchildren & 27 Great-Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by 3 brothers & 4 sisters.

Funeral Mass: 10:30AM Monday, August 23, 2010 at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Rosholt. Rev. Marcin Mankowski officiating. Burial in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation on Sunday from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home, Stevens Point, and again on Monday from 9:30AM until time of services at the church.
St. Adalbert Rosary Society and St. Isadore Rosary Society will combine with the parish rosary prayed at 7:00PM Sunday at the funeral home.
