Cory J. Retzlaff:
Of Stevens Point, died Saturday afternoon, March 21, 2009 at St. Michael's Hospital. Age 18. Cory was born June 9, 1990 in Rhinelander, Wisc. He is the son of Judy (Robert) Magliocco of Stevens Point, and Eugene (Brenda) Retzlaff of Plover. Cory grew up in Stevens Point and was a senior at the Stevens Point Area Senior High Schools (SPASH).
He loved being around people and listening to music. In the summer he enjoyed going camping with his family. Last February, the Make-A-Wish Foundation sent Cory and his family to Disney World in Florida. Cory had the time of his life. Cory was the happiest being able to spend time with the Disney Characters.
Cory was very special. Whoever came in contact with him was touched by his laugh and smile. Cory will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Cory's name will be established at a later date.
Survivors, besides his parents, are his five sisters, Samantha, Jennifer, Sara, Lindsay and Ashley, and one brother, Jordan. He is also survived by grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m Wednesday at St Bronislava Catholic Church. Rev. James Trempe officiating. Burial will be in the St. Bronislava Parish Cemetery. Family and Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Plover, and from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday morning at St. Bronislava Church until the time for mass. There will be a Bible Vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.pisarskifuneralhome.com.
