DANIEL B. SANDSTROM:

Of Stevens Point, died peacefully early Wednesday morning at St. Claire's Hospital in Weston, Wisc. Age; 48. Dan was born May 7, 1958 in Escanaba, Michigan. He is the son of Robert & Clara (NEE: Gaura) Sandstrom of Stevens Point. He attended local grade schools, and graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH) in 1976. His marriage to Karla Vallin took place on August 28, 1982 at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover. After their marriage the couple settled in Stevens Point. His wife Karla survives.

Dan worked for Valley Leasing for a number of years, and also Point Sporting Goods. He was a carpenter for Wisconsin Carpenters and lately owned and operated Sandstrom Construction Inc. Dan was an avid outdoorsmen, who loved fishing and hunting, trap shooting and camping.

IN LIEU OF FLOWERS A MEMORIAL IN HIS NAME WILL BE ESTABLISHED AT A LATER DATE.

Dan was a devoted husband and father who loved and adored his family, provided for them and treasured all their time spent together.

Preceded in death by: his brother-in-law, Michael Kenowski.

FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 pm Sunday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home. Pastor William Christianson officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
