Diane M. Pozniak-Casto
Of the Town of Hull, Stevens Point died Wednesday morning November 11, 2015 at her home with her loving family at her side.

She was under the care of Heartland Hospice while fighting a courageous battle with MS which she was diagnosed with at the age of 22.

Age 51 Diane was born June 5, 1964 in Stevens Point. She is the daughter of Edward Pozniak of Stevens Point, and the late Mary Jane (Kujawa) Pozniak.

She attended local schools and graduated from SPASH High School in 1982. She married Cory Pliska in 1994. The couple later divorced in 2004. She then married David Casto on January 13, 2012. Her husband David survives.

Diane worked at Sentry Insurance for over 20 years in the claims department.

Diane enjoyed going to the Casino, loved feeding the ducks and taking care of her dog. Her most precious time was being with family.

Survivors include her husband Dave Casto of Stevens Point. Her son Zachary Pliska, Naval Submarine Base in Groton, Ct, and her daughter Megan Pliska of Stevens Point.

Her father Edward Pozniak of Stevens Point, one sister Linda (Ben) Stanislawski of Rosholt, and three brothers David (Barbara) Pozniak and James (Carol) Pozniak both of the Town of Hull and Daniel (Kerrie) Pozniak of Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Jane Pozniak.

As per Diane's wishes private family funeral services were held. Burial has taken place in the St. Casimir Catholic Church Parish Cemetery. The Pisarski Funeral Home was honored to serve the family. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.pisarskifuneralhome.com
