Diane L. Wanta Nee: Eichman
57, of Stevens Point, died Saturday, July 6, 2013 at her home with her family by her side. She was under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice Service. Diane was born on February 23, 1956 in Green Bay. She is the daughter of Marion (Erdman) Eichman and the late Clyde Eichman.
Diane attended Redeemer Lutheran grade school in Green Bay and graduated from South West High School in 1974. Her marriage to Randy Wanta took place on October 31, 1981 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Stevens Point.
Diane worked for Sentry Insurance up until her illness in 1997. She enjoyed playing softball & golf. She loved spending time with her nieces & nephews.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Wanta of Stevens Point. Mother, Marion Eichman of Green Bay. Brothers and Sisters, David (Sharon) Eichman of Suamico, Darrel (Debbie) Eichman of Green Bay, Donna (Ron) Strehlow of Suring, Denise (Jack) Skaletski of Green Bay, Dan (Lori) Eichman of Green Bay, Doreen (Gary) Strehlow of Suring.
Also survived by sisters-in-law, Joan (Scott) Gralla of Stevens Point, Gwen Wanta of Custer and numerous nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Gary. Nephew, Ryan. Father-in-law & Mother-in-law, Robert & Janet Wanta.

Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday July 10, 2013 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1919 Wyatt Ave. Stevens Point. Pastor Roger Moldenhauer officiating. Burial will take place on Thursday at Brookside Cemetery. Visitation on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home, 703 Second Street, Stevens Point, and again on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
