Dolores J. (Folz) Hopp
87, of Stevens Point, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Sylvan Crossing Assisted Living. She was born on July 21, 1925 in Stevens Point. She was the daughter of the late
Joseph & Anastasia (Fox) Bartkowiak.
She attended local schools. Her marriage to Roy Folz took place at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point. Roy died on April 6, 1990. She was married to Rodney Hopp in 2002. He died in 2010.
Dolores and her husband, Roy, owned and operated Loop Bar, in downtown Stevens Point. She also worked at Bookworld bookstore.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Dolores volunteered at the Lincoln Center, to help with crafts. She enjoyed camping, arts & crafts.
Survivors include her sons, Neal (Mary) Folz of Wisconsin Rapids, Terry (Pat) Folz, Lee (Jean) Folz and Mark (Stacy) Folz, all of Stevens Point. 11 grandchildren. Five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Denise Reynolds. Brothers, Edward, Stanley, Chester & Joseph.
The family would like to thank the staff at Sylvan Crossing for all their loving care and support.
Funeral Service: 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013, at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home, 2911 Plover Road, Plover. Deacon Art Schaller officiating.
Burial will take place at a later date in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
