Age 82, of Whiting, died Saturday morning, April 27, 2013 at her home.
Dolores was born July 7, 1930 in Stevens Point. She was the daughter of the late Barney and Anna (Firkus) Bukowski. She attended local grade schools.
She married Everett Tech in 1955 and the couple later divorced.
Dolores worked for a number of places, retiring from the Stevens Point Journal in 1998.
She enjoyed driving stock cars and loved Polka music and also played the Concertina. She waited anxiously every day for the Journal to arrive to work the crossword puzzle.
She is survived by two brothers: Ray (Camille) Bukowski and Chet (Elaine) Bukowski both of Plover; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dolores was preceded in death by a sister, Gertrude; and one brother, Barney Jr.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in her name has been established for St. Peter's Church.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Rev. Marcin Mankowski officiating. Burial will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Family and friends may call after 9:30 AM Wednesday morning at the St. Faustina Room of St. Peter's Church until the time for mass.
