Donald L. Bellinger

Donald L. Bellinger Sr, 89, of Stevens Point, passed away Monday,  August 6, 2018 at the Portage County Health Care Center.  Don was born on January 2, 1929 in Stevens Point.  He was the son of the late Lawrence and Helen (Kabot) Bellinger.

Don was married to Isabell (Simonis) Bellinger.

Don worked for Soo Line for many years.  He enjoyed collecting/fixing anything, spending time with his family and with his outdoor cats.

Survivors include his wife Isabell.  His children: Donald (Marline) Bellinger, Cindy (Dale) Rogers, Margaret (Davey) Raikowski, and Gloria (Bob) Rosin.  13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.  Brothers: Marvin Bellinger and Dave (Delores) Bellinger.  Sisters-in-law: Edna Suchon and Jeannie Simonis.  Brothers-in-law: Donnie (Janet) Simonis and Leroy (Darlene) Simonis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws, Son Tommy, Grandson Tommy, a brother, 3 sisters, and 8 brothers/sisters-in-law.

A private ceremony will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the Portage County Health Care Center and staff for their care of Donald.  We would like to express a BIG THANK-YOU to Doreen, Jess, Steph, Karla and Kathy for the extra care and love given to him for the last 2 years.
