Edward W. Boucher

Age 84, of Stevens Point, died Sunday, October 4, 2009 at Crystal River Nursing Home and Rehabilitation in Waupaca.

Edward was born August 3, 1925 in Marshfield, WI. He was the son of the late Wilfrid and Mary (Boedicker) Boucher.

His marriage to Bernice Ernestine Landwehr took place on June 25, 1947 at March Rapids Church near Stratford, WI.


Ed grew up and attended schools in the Eau Pleine area. In his early years, he farmed in the Colby area and worked construction. After moving to Wausau area, he worked for Kolbe and Kolbe for fifteen years, from which he retired.

In his retirement years, Ed enjoyed fishing, woodworking and making crafts, traveling, playing cards and spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.

Edward is survived by three daughters, Karen Smith of Appleton, WI, Kay (Mark) Rossi of Yardley, Pennsylvania, and Kristy (Warren) Rheinschmidt of Stevens Point. One son, Kevin (Stephanie) Boucher of Skiatook, Oklahoma, and a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Boucher of Hortonville, WI.

Eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. One brother, Art (Elaine) Boucher of Marshfield as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is further survived by his sisters-in-law, Shirley (Ernest) Johnson, Warrens, WI, and Edna Landwehr of Stratford. His brothers-in-law, Raymond (Elnora) Landwehr, Jarold (Marie) Landwehr, LaVern (Janet) Landwehr, Wilmer (Ione) Landwehr, Donald (June) Landwehr all of Stratford, Gordon (Betty) Landwehr of Edgar and Eugene Landwehr of Unity, WI.



Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice, on May 27, 2009, his son, Kenneth Edward Boucher, on June 13, 2009. His sisters, Mary Hamilton of Milwaukee and Verna Doherty of River Edge, New Jersey, Alice Lueschow of Verona, WI, Lumena Kaiser of South Milwaukee and infant sisters, Louise and Elanor.



Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Divine Word Lutheran Church in Plover. Pastor Keith Free officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Wausau.

Family and Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home, Stevens Point, and from 9:00 A.M. Thursday at the church until the time for services.
