Edward H. Morganroth:
Of Plover, died early Wednesday morning, October 13, 2010 at the Hospice House in Wausau following a five year battle with cancer, passing a month short of his 90th birthday.
Edward was born November 22, 1920 in Chicago, IL. He was the son of the late Herbert J. and Bernice S. (Strauss) Morganrath.
Ed married the former Dorothy Jane Witters on June 23, 1950 in Grand Rapids, MI. The couple raised their family in the Chicago area, moving to Plover in 2000 following his retirement in order to be near family.
Edward was Vice-President of Sales for the printing division of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. He retired from Mitsubishi in 1985.
Survivors include his wife: Jane of Plover, two sons: Ed (Susan) Morganroth and their two children: Alex and Briana all of Plover, and Dana L. (Sally) Morganroth of Pittsburgh, PA.
Visitation will be held from 3pm to 6pm on Monday, October 18, 2010 at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home in Plover. At 6pm, a breif eulogy will be given by his two sons followed by full military honors in recongnition of his service in World War II.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions be made in their father's name to either the American Cancer Society or the United Way of Portage County.
