Edward W. Wolfe
Age 76 was called Home on Monday evening, January 18, 2016 at the Atrium Care Center where he resided for the last four and a half months.

He was born August 10, 1939 in Minocqua, WI to the late Leo A. and Lois (Schilling) Wolfe. The family moved to Racine when he was a young child and later settled in Oak Creek, WI. He attended Rawson Grade School and South Milwaukee Junior High. Ed graduated from South Milwaukee Senior High in 1959.

On October 8, 1962 he was drafted into the U. S Army in Milwaukee, WI, and was stationed in Germany. While there, he married his first wife Arlene Kujawa. Together they toured many European countries before returning to Wisconsin. He was honorably discharged on September 29, 1964 at Fort Hamilton, New York. He then served in the United States Army Reserves until his discharge in 1968.

His wife Arlene preceded him in death in 1997. Eddie spent much of his working life in various machine shops in Wisconsin and Illinois, retiring from Process Gears of Chicago in 2002 as a supervisor of production.

On September 20, 2003 he married the former Anita Zalewski at St. Adalbert's Catholic Church in Rosholt, WI. They lived in Rosholt until 2006 when they then purchased their home in Stevens Point. His wife Anita survives.

Eddie was an avid airplane enthusiast and a long-time member of the EAA. He also used to enjoy trapping, hunting and fishing. He loved gardening and caring for his yard and flowers. He and Anita also enjoyed a number of bus trips together throughout the country.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Edwards name will be established at a later date.

Edward is survived by his wife, Anita; a son Craig (Kelly) Wolfe of Milwaukee; a daughter Jacqueline (Ken) Ilkenhans of Waukesha; three step-daughters, Julie (Leroy) Rekowski of Plover, Linda (Tim) Schuh of Richfield and Shari (Andy) Hauck of Oshkosh.

Three step-sons; Rick (Luz) Trebs of Polonia, David (Suzanne) Trzebiatowski of DeForest, and Michael (Jenny) Trzebiatowski of Plover.

Six grandchildren; Jamie, Mikel'k, Terry and Neil Wolfe, Courtney Watson and Cameron Ilkenhans. Six great-grandchildren and eleven step-grandchildren.

Two brothers John (Patty) Wolfe of Stevens Point and Leo (Kathy) Wolfe of Milwaukee.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents and wife Arlene.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Friday, January 22, 2016 at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover. Monsignor Jeffery Burrill officiating. Burial will follow in St. Adalbert's Catholic Church Parish Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 9:30 A.M. Friday morning at St. Bronislava Church until the time for Mass.
