Edwin A. GAGAS:
Of 1280 County Road K, Custer, died Tuesday Morning, Dec. 26, 2006, peacefully surrounded by his family at the Portage County Health Care Center.
Age 92. Born July 30, 1914 in the Town of Sharon. Son of the late Walter and Teckla (Wrycza) Gagas.
His marriage to Regina "Jean" Kuffel took place on Oct. 28, 1939 at Sacred Heart Church in Polonia. She died March 27, 2005.
After their marriage, the couple settled on the Kuffel family Homestead where they farmed all of their lives. The couple retired in 1976.
Edwin was a member of the St. Isadore Society at Sacred Heart Church and a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. He also was an Usher at Scared Heart Church for a number of years. He enjoyed Sunday family rides, dancing, family get togethers and spending time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren.
A memorial in his name will be established at a later date.

Audrey Gagas of Custer.

Laura Kielpinski of Custer &
Ramona (Ervin) Lilla of Custer.
9 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren & 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: His Wife, Jean. 4 Brothers, John, Frank, Walter & Chester. 5 Sisters, Verona, Agnes, Angeline, Belvina & Emogene and 1 son in law: Marvin Zivney.
Funeral Mass: 10:30 AM Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia. Rev. Marcin Mankowski Off. Burial in the parish cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 PM Thursday eve. at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point, and from 9:30 AM until the time of services Friday morning at the Church. St. Isadore Society and the Catholic Order of Foresters will combine with a general rosary at 7:00 PM Thursday eve. at the Funeral Home.
