Edwina "Etta" P. Rzentkowski
Age 98, formerly of the Town of Stockton, died Monday October 30, 2017, at Brookdale Assisted Living in Stevens Point. She was under the care of Heartland Hospice Care. Edwina was born on January 22, 1919 in the town of Stockton. She was the daughter of the late Martin & Rose (Gosh) Kruzitski.
She attended local schools. Her marriage to Emil Rzentkowski took place on April 12, 1937. After the marriage the couple settled in the town of Stockton. He husband Emil died on Oct. 19, 2003.
Edwina worked for the Copps Corporation for 27 years. She enjoyed gardening, canning, gambling and playing cards.
Survivors include her two sons, Arnold (Keeli) of Arizona and Fred (Tami) of Stevens Point. Daughter; Rose Ann (Jerome) Ostrowski of Elderon. Also survived by Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and
Great-Great-Grandchildren. Sisters; Gertrude Ksionsk, Jeanie (Richard) Daniels both of Stevens Point and Rosie (John) Boursier of California.
She was preceded in death by, one grandson and several brothers and sisters.
The family would like to thank the care givers at Brookdale Senior living memory wing, for their loving care and support.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday November 3, 2017 at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Custer. Rev. Roy Witucki officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery Wisconsin Rapids. Visitation on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Pisarski Funeral Home Stevens Point, with a parish rosary being prayed at 6:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at the church.
