Eric B. Belke
Of Stevens Point died Friday evening, December 19, 2014 at Ministry- St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
Age 95 Eric was born May 14, 1919 in Stevens Point. He was the son of the late Emil and Julia (Borski) Belke. He attended local grade schools and graduated from Emerson High School in 1937.
Eric entered the Army Air Force in 1941 and served until 1945 when he then returned to Stevens Point and worked with his father Emil and his brother Ed at Belke Lumber Mfg. He continued his Army Air Force career joining the Reserves retiring in 1969 as a Lt. Colonel.
Eric was a member of the Berens-Scribner American Legion Post 6.
In Lieu of flowers contribution to the Stevens Point Area Catholic Schools (SPACS) would be appreciated.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at St. Peters Catholic Church. Burial with full military rites will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 9:30 A.M. Tuesday morning at the St. Faustina room of St. Peters Church until the time for mass.
