Esther M. Bembeneck:
Age 81, of Stevens Point, died peacefully on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca.
Esther was born Dec. 15, 1928 in Rosholt, WI to the late Bruno and Elizabeth (Gagas) Ostrowski. Her marriage to Elmer Bembeneck took place on Oct. 11, 1947 at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Rosholt. Elmer preceded her in death in 1998.
Esther was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, church activities and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include One Daughter: Mary (Richard) Filtz and their son, David. Two Sons: Clifford (Marilyn) Bembeneck and their children, Jennifer, James and Jacqueline. Michael (Deborah) Bembeneck and their children, Kelly, Abby & Brooke.
One Great-Grandson: Deagen. One Daughter-in-Law: Emily Bembenek. One Sister: Agnes Hintz and One Sister-in-law: Irma Ostrowski.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Elmer, son Leonard and 11 Brothers & 5 Sisters.
Funeral Mass: 11:30 AM Tuesday at St. Peter Catholic Church, Rev. Robert Letona Officiating. Burial in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation from 9:30 AM until the time of services Tuesday morning in the St. Faustina Room at St. Peter Church. Pisarski/Dzikoski funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
