Esther G. Phillip

Esther G. Phillip, age 91, of Stevens Point, died Friday Aug. 18, 2017 at the Portage County Health Care Center. She was born July 27, 1926 in Stevens Point. She is the daughter of the late John and Veronica (Kowalski) Klesmit.

Her marriage to Casimer Phillip took place on Feb. 5, 1944 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Mill Creek. He died May 3, 1978. She later married Ernest Dulske who died on Sept. 11, 1988. She later married Humphrey Zagzebski who died Feb. 19, 2002.

Esther worked on the family farm most of her life and also worked at the Point Bakery and St. Michaels Hospital. She was a member of the St. Bartholomew Rosary Society. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially at get together's and family baseball games.

Survivors include: One daughter: Elaine (Leonard) Jazdzewski of Stevens Point. Three sons: Tom (Diane), Bill (Darlene) & Rick (Gayle) Phillip all of Stevens Point.

10 Grandchildren: Philip (Pam) Jazdzewski, Jackie (Dusty) Hodsdon, Valerie (Kyle) Kubisiak, Becky, Rachel & Tammy Phillip, David (Karen) Phillip, Corey (Elizabeth) Phillip, Kimberly (Matt Crans) Rogalski and Casey Phillip.

21 Great grandchildren and 2 Great great grandchildren. Esther is the last of her family of twelve.

Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am on Monday Aug. 21, 2017 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Mill Creek. Rev. Dennis Stanchik will officiate. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of services Monday morning at the Church. Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.

Esther's religion was very important to her. She attended daily Mass up to the time she could not attend any more. She also prayed the rosary daily.
