Eugene G. GORETSKI,
age 63, of 464 W. Clark St., Stevens Point, joined eternal life with his beloved wife, Bonnie, on January 22, 2007. Monday we lost our loving Father, best friend, loving grandfather and the biggest (Greatest) man you could ever know.
Eugene was born Sept. 13, 1943 in Rosholt to Cecelia (Kostuch) Goretski and the late Edward Goretski Sr. He served as an Airman 1st Class with the US Air Force. He entered the Air Force on April 30, 1963 in Milwaukee and was honorably discharged on April 28, 1967 in Tacoma, Washington. He received the National Defense Service Medal and Air Force Good Conduct Medal.
Eugene was married to his beloved wife, Bonnie Adamski, on Oct. 12, 1963 at St. Peter Catholic Church. After their marriage, the couple settled in Tacoma, Washington from 1964 to 1967, then moving back to Stevens Point. His wife died Sept. 29, 2003.
He was employed for Consolidated Papers - Stevens Point Division for 37 years, retiring in 2003. After his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and especially loved singing Hank Williams songs.
Eugene was always there to provide love and support to his family. They will miss him dearly.

Dawn (Manuel Jr.) Harn of Stevens Point.
8 Grandchildren: Nicole, Tony, Tiffany, Amber, Ashton, Brittany, Sheldon & Paige.
3 Step-Grandchildren: Nathan, Nick & Danielle.
1 Great-Grandson: Conlin.
7 Brothers: Richard, Maynard, Dennis, Gary, Leroy, Marv & Ralph.
3 Sisters: Carole, Janice & Marie.
Preceded in death by: 1 Grandson, Zachary, and 1 Brother, Edward Goretski Jr.
Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM Friday at St. Peter Catholic Church. Burial in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 PM Thursday at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home and from 9:00 AM until the time of services Friday morning in the St. Faustina Room at St. Peter's Church. The Knights of Columbus Council #1170, which his son Randy is a member, will combine with a general Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 PM Thursday eve. at the funeral home.
