Eugene "Geno" J. Firkus

Eugene "Geno" J. Firkus, age 70, of Stevens Point, died Monday Oct. 9, 2017 at Maple Ridge assisted living in Plover.

He was born Oct. 3, 1947 in Stevens Point. He is the son of the late James "Kuba" and Eljean (Blaskowski) Firkus.

Geno worked his entire life at James Firkus Auto Wrecking in Stevens Point. He enjoyed Polka music, playing the Concertina and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by two brothers: Kenneth (Margaret) and Daniel (Catherine) Firkus both of Stevens Point. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM on Friday Oct. 13, 2017 at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Stevens Point. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of services Friday at the Church. Pisarski Funeral Homes is honored to be serving the family.
