Eva M. "Toots" Beyerl: 89, formerly of Hayward, WI, died Saturday, March 16, 2013 at North Crest Assisted Living in Stevens Point, WI, assisted by her family, Ministry Home Care Hospice Services, and all of her loving friends (staff) at North Crest.

Eva was born on April 10, 1923 in Pensaukee, WI, the daughter of William and Eva (Johnson) Berger. Her family later relocated to Abbotsford where she graduated High School in 1942. She attended college in Stevens Point prior to marrying the love of her life, Leon R. Beyerl, on February 22, 1944 in Colby, WI.

Eva and Leon raised their 9 children in a loving home largely in the Delavan, WI, area while working at times in the restaurant business with her husband but mostly being a stay at home mother. Later, they relocated to Michigan where they worked for the Teledyne Corporation until retirement to Hayward where they spent their best years in the home they rebuilt with love and sweat on Gurno Lake, near Hayward, WI, until Leon's death 2005. While there, they became active members of St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church in Stone Lake. After Leon's death, she relocated to the Stevens Point Area to be closer to family.

Eva enjoyed reading, needlepoint, music and especially attending her children's, grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's activities.

Eva is Survived by her 9 children: David (Judy) Beyerl of Jefferson, OR; Mary (Gerry) Chamberlain of Lake Geneva, WI; Kathleen (Gary) Nations of Junction City, WI; Martha Stuckert, of Plymouth, MN; William (Marilyn) Beyerl of Batavia, IL; Ellen (John) Neubel of Libertyville, IL; Robert (Lianne) Beyerl of Edina, MN; Richard (Tammy) Beyerl of Elk Grove, CA; and Laura (Richard) Holden of Stevens Point, WI.

Seventeen grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 2 - almost 4 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 5 in-laws: Joseph Beyerl of Oxnard, CA; Bernadine Westmorland of Woodland Hills, CA; Delores Jacobs and Gerald Beyerl both of Marshfield, WI, and May Geiger of New London, WI; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Leon, a granddaughter: Angela Beyerl, and two sisters: Ruth Barrett and Margarite Clapp.

Mass of Christian Burial will take Place at 11 am on Saturday, March 23rd at St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church, Stone Lake, WI. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation an hour before the service at 10 am.
