Evelyn M. Bronk:
Evelyn (Golla) Bronk, age 91, of Stevens Point, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family at St. Clare's Hospital in Weston on Saturday, June 1, 2013.

Evelyn was born January 2, 1922 in Stevens Point. She was the daughter of the late John and Martha (Pionkowski) Golla.

Her marriage to Harry Peter Bronk took place on November 28, 1939 at St. Peter's Church. Both were lifelong residents of Stevens Point. Harry preceded her in death in 1991.

Evelyn was a devoted member of St. Peter's Church, as well as a member of St. Peter's Rosary Society, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary.

For those who knew Evelyn, they would have known that she possessed a strong Faith and that the Rosary was very important to her.

Over the years, she had worked with the American Legion Auxiliary working for weddings and Friday fish fries at the American Legion club house. She also demoed for Trig's County Market.

She enjoyed volunteering her time to serve others, especially at the Veterans Home in King, WI, for many years. She also volunteered her services at the Lincoln Senior Center.

Evelyn loved cooking and baking. She had a wonderful gift of sharing stories of her past and that of her family which were her greatest joy.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to St. Peter's Church fund in her name.

She is survived by her five children: Darlene (Karl) Blahnik of Appleton, Carolyn Bronk SSJ-TOSF of Stevens Point, Marilyn (Peter) Jushka of Batavia, IL, Dwayne Bronk of Rockford, IL, and Kim (Jose) DelCastillo of Plover.

Further survived by her nine grandchildren: Kevin (Jennifer) Blahnik, Brian (Tracy) Blahnik, Jennifer (Brian) Pelot, Michelle Jushka, Rebecca (Chris) Ledbetter, Eric (Nicole) Jushka, Jozef DelCastillo, Jordan Bronk and Drake Bronk.

Seven great-grandchildren: Riker Blahnik (Brian and Traci), Julia Blahnik, Rachel Blahnik, Grant Blahnik (Kevin and Jennifer), Grace Pelot (Brian and Jennifer), Tyler Jushka and Gavin Jushka (Eric and Nicole).

One sister-in-law: Lorraine Golla of Stevens Point, Cherie (Don) Rolnicki and Debbie Jakusz (Mike) daughters of a very special deceased cousin, Lillian Jakusz, and Sister Michele SSJ-TOSF.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harry, three brothers: Leonard, Ernest and Richard Golla and one sister Grayce.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Rev. Arul Joseph V. officiating. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home, and from 9:30 AM Wednesday morning in the St. Faustina room of St. Peter's Church until the time for mass. There will be a Rosary at 6:30 PM Tuesday evening led by the St. Peter's Rosary Society at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.pisarskifuneralhome.com.

The family extends a very special thank you to Community Care of Central Wisconsin (especially to Linda Hoppenrath and Mary Resch), the staff at Aspirus Home Care, Gemini, DaVita, Ministry Health (Rice Clinic), Klasinski Clinic, Point Plus and Courtesy Carrier for their excellent medical, home and transportation care of the years.

Finally a sincere expression of gratitude to the 2nd and 3rd floor nursing staff, as well as pastoral care provided at St. Clare's Hospital for our mom, they were awesome. To all of moms' special friends who brought much happiness and joy to her life; for that we are extremely grateful.
