Florence A. (Buza) Augustine:
Age 87, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2013 in Appleton, WI.
Florence was born October 20, 1925 in Stevens Point to the parents Leo and Mary (Adamski) Buza.
Florence spent her childhood near Stevens Point, before moving to Milwaukee, where she met and married Ernie Augustine on November 15, 1947.
Shortly after their marriage, Florence and Ernie moved to Nelsonville, WI. But after a few years, settled back in the Milwaukee area where they raised their family and enjoyed years of retirement in Wauwatosa, WI. For the past three years, since her husband's passing in 2009, Florence has lived in Appleton, under the loving care of her son Craig, his wife Tammy and their two children Henry and Caroline.
Florence was a devoted loving wife, a supportive caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She saw the positive in everyone. She loved traveling, listening to live music, dancing and keeping up on current events by reading various newspapers and magazines; and loved ice cream.
Florence is survived by her sons: Dane (Gilda) Terlingua of TX, Dean (Sandy) of Eagle River, WI, Craig (Tammy) of Appleton, WI, and Kurt of Rochester, MN.
Four brothers: Jerome of Plover, Gerald and LeRoy of Stevens Point, and Fred of Spring Hill, FL; and one sister: Bridget Kerr of Stevens Point.
Eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Donny.
Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM Friday, June 7, 2013 at St. Mary's of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher, 3995 County Highway K, Amherst. Family and friends may call at the Church from 9:30 AM Friday morning until the time for mass. Burial will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield, WI.
