FRANK J. ABBREDERIS SR.
of Plover, died Monday February 19, 2007 at Lakeview Manor Nursing Home in Weyauwega. Age: 85. Born: April 6, 1921 in Monroe, Wisconsin. Son of the late John & Nora (Redman) Abbrederis. Frank entered the service on May 22, 1944 at Fort Sheridan, Illinois. He served in the Army during WWII in Central Europe. He received the European/African/Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 1 bronze battle star, 2 overseas service bars, Good Conduct Medal and the WWII Victory Medal. He was honorably discharged on March 18, 1946 at Camp Grant, Illinois. His marriage for over 65 years to Dolores Groszkiewicz took place on November 29, 1941 in Milwaukee. She survives. Frank worked for Wisconsin Motors, now Teledyne Industries, for 33 years retiring in 1976. He was a member of the American Legion Rib Lake Post 274, Iditarod & U.A.W. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, dog sledding in Price County and horse shoe pitching.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: Edward & John.
FUNERAL SERVICES: 12:30PM Friday at the Wisconsin Veterans Home Chapel in King. Visitation on Friday from 10:30AM until time of services at the Chapel.
