In Memory of Gary Dean Reed
Gary D. Reed was born on June 13, 1952 in Viroqua to Dean and Mildred (Sidie) Reed. He married Sharon Bredeck on Dec. 17, 1971, and raised three sons. He passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014.
Gary was active in football at Oconto High School and enjoyed working on cars. He had worked at Daul Motors & 41 Auto Stop in Oconto, Schierl Motors, and WalMart Automotive. He also served in the Green Bay National Guard unit, 1st Battalion, 127th Infantry Division, as a mechanic.
His hobbies included golfing, woodworking, and stamp collecting.
He is survived by his wife Sharon (Bredeck) of 41 years; three sons - Gary Michael (Julie) of Pine Island, MN, David (Sara) of Ocala, FL, and Greg (Deanna) of Green Bay; 5 grandchildren: Ethan, Caleb, Nathan, Meghan and Amaya; one sister, Renee Reim of Green Bay; 1 father-in-law, Bob Bredeck, 5 sister-in-laws, 2 brother-in-laws and many nieces and nephews who were also big part of his life.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father Mildred and Dean Reed, grandparents Jake and Vesta Sidie (Maybee), grandparents Bill and Bertha Reed, Uncle Les Tollefson, and his mother-in-law, Ruth Bredeck.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday December 6, 2014, at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home and Cremation Center 2911 Plover Road Plover, with Rev. Lane Hoelscher officiating.
