Grace D. Jisko
79, of 2500 Plover Springs Drive, Plover, died Monday, September 7, 2009 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau. Born December 18, 1929 in Rosholt. Daughter of the late
Joseph & Victoria (Spitza) Garski. She attended local schools.
Her marriage to Clarence Jisko took place on September 28, 1946 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stevens Point, after the marriage the couple settled in the town of Linwood for a short time, then, moving to their present address. Her husband, Clarence, died on July 1, 1991.
She was a member of St. Bronislava Rosary Society.
She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and they were always welcome at her home.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and canning. She loved to play card games with her family and taking trips to the casino.
Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Jisko of Oshkosh. Sons, Larry (Patsy) Jesko of Prattville, Alabama, Jim (Terry) Jisko of Plover, Richard (Betty) Jisko of Safford, Arizona, Tom (Debbie) Jisko of Plover, Eugene (Cheryl) Jisko of Plover and Tim (Barbara) Jisko of Stevens Point.
Also survived by 17 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren.
Sisters: Florence Moen of Iola and Theresa (Joel) Johnson of Amherst.
Preceded in death by an infant child, 3 sisters, 3 brothers, 1 great-grandchild & a daughter-in-law.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am Thursday, September 10th at St. Bronislava Catholic Church, Plover. Rev. Sagayaraj Augustine officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation on Thursday from 9:00am until time of services at the Church.
